The County Pool is open
Monday, Wednesday, Friday and Saturday 11 a.m. to 7 p.m.
Tuesday and
Thursday 11 a.m. to dark.
Sunday 12 p.m. to 7 p.m.
Concessions available;
baby pool; high and low dive boards
General Rules
Diving Board – Only
one person allowed on the board at a time. All dives straight from
boards, no running starts.
Concession – food and drink not allowed on pool deck; coolers not
permitted inside pool
Wading Pool – Limited to children 5 and under
Bathing Suits – All swimmers must wear bathing suits; no cut off
jeans
Admission
General Admission - $3.00
After 4 p.m. (M, W, F, Sat, Sun) – half price
After 6 p.m. (Tue. Thurs.) – half price
Season Passes
Individual - $85.00
Family - $195.00
Pool Rentals
The pool is available for
private parties from 6:15 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. every day except Tuesday
and Thursday. The rental fee is $100 per hour for up to 50 people.
There is an additional charge of $1.00 per person over 50 people.
Reservations may be made by calling the Putnam County Parks and
Recreation Administrative Offices at 304-562-0518 before Memorial
Day. After this date reservations may be made by calling the pool
at 304-586-3539.
Swim Lessons
Swimming lessons will
be offered for both children and adults throughout the pool season.
Please contact the pool office for dates and times.
Pool Closure Policy
The Putnam County
Pool may be subject to closure due to inclement weather such as but
not limited to: cool temperatures, storms, lightning activity and
low attendance. If the pool is closed due to bad weather rain
checks will be issued. Rain checks will be honored at any time
during the current season except holidays and special events. No
Rain Checks will be issued after 4 p.m. (or 6 p.m. on Tuesday and
Thursday). YOU MUST BE PRESENT TO RECEIVE A RAIN CHECK.
